We had a wonderful time at the Memory Café earlier in the week.

Lynne and Trisha from Linking Generations Northern Ireland returned with staff and children from Bloomfield Primary School. Geoff Hatt returned and played well loved songs, everyone enjoyed his performance, some of the children even got up to dance along! 🕺

Trisha led the group in making clay windchimes, this was a big hit, everyone had a great time moulding their clay and will have something to hang in their garden this summer. 🌞

We were delighted to welcome Councillor Jennifer Gilmour who had a nice chat with all in attendance. Everyone enjoyed trying on her chains and hearing about their interesting history.

We also shared some more stories during a show and tell, where we got to hold and hear about ostrich eggs that had been carved and gifted to George by tribal people while he lived in Africa.

The clients in attendance also received blankets that had been hand made by the ladies at Protaferry’s Knit and Natter group. There was a style to suit every taste and everyone was delighted with their choice.

If any Caremark clients are interested in attending, please contact Christopher, our Wellbeing manager on 028 9146 7004.💙
