Heather McWilliams – Mentor Spotlight

Heather is one of our amazing Care and Support Workers and is a part of the Bangor Team at Caremark NI 💙. Here is a bit of her background:

“My interest in care started during Covid when the NHS called people to assist in the local community! I started working at Caremark and ended up as a full-time Care and Support Worker. As I developed from a beginner to a more experienced carer, I grew so much in confidence and getting to know the customers at Caremark helped me as much as it helped them.”🌟

“My advice to any new start would be to not be afraid to ask questions. I feel that seeking help from experienced carers is valuable, as it boosts morale and helps new staff grow in confidence.”👏
