Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Fundraiser

Last week, we held a fundraiser to raise funds to install a fully accessible public AED, available around the clock, to serve not only our staff, but the whole Balloo Industrial Area and wider Bangor business community. This device could mean the difference between life and death in an emergency, especially during evenings, weekends, and holidays when most workplaces are closed.

Very recently, Caremark NI’s dedicated Care Coordinator, Roberta, suffered a sudden cardiac arrest. Her powerful story highlights just how critical it is to have a 24-hour accessible AED in our community to help protect lives when every second counts. On the 22^nd May we held our fundraiser at our Bangor Head Office. Staff baked lots of incredible goodies for the local businesses to enjoy, along with refreshments and music! We had a brilliant afternoon, and raised vital funds for the installation of the defibrillator.
