Caremark celebrates the Queens platinum jubilee

To celebrate the Queens platinum Jubilee, Caremark Arun arranged afternoon tea boxes to be delivered to customers who also wanted to join in on the celebrations. Afternoon tea boxes were £5 each and all money raised was donated to Parkinson’s UK. A total of £60 was raised and a great day was had by all celebrating this moment in history.

This event was also a time of reminiscence for many customers, who proudly shared their own fond memories of her Majesty, the Queen with us. Kathleen told carers she remembers being 8 years old when the Queen had her coronation. At the time, she was living in Weybridge and on the day of the coronation she was walking up and down the Thames, whilst her parents watched the coronation on the TV.
