About the Role:
As a Field Care Supervisor in Caremark Coventry, you’ll play a key role in ensuring customers receive safe, high-quality care in their own homes. Supporting and mentoring Care Assistants in the community, you’ll build strong relationships, carry out quality visits, and help maintain excellent care standards. This is a rewarding, predominantly community-based role for someone passionate about person-centred care and making a positive difference to both customers and colleagues every day.
What You’ll Be Supporting With as a Field Care Supervisor in Coventry, Nuneaton and Bedworth:
- Conduct customers assessments, risk assessments and reviews to ensure care remains safe, effective and person-centered.
- Introduce Care Assistants to new customers and oversee the successful start of care packages.
- Carry out spot checks, observations and quality assurance visits to monitor service standards.
- Supervise, lead and mentor Care Assistants in the community, providing guidance and coaching where required.
- Deliver practical inductions, competency assessments and in- community training for new and existing Care Assistants
- Identify training and development needs and support ongoing professional development.
- Work closely with the Care Coordinator to ensure care visits are covered and continuity of care is maintained.
- Monitor customers satisfaction and wellbeing, addressing concerns and escalating issues appropriately.
- Ensure care plans, risk assessments and documentation are accurate, up to date and compliant with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Promote safeguarding, dignity, independence and person-centered care at all times.
- Participate in the on-call rota and provide emergency support outside normal working hours as required.
- Maintain effective communication with customers, families, healthcare professionals and colleagues.
- Complete reports, audits and administrative tasks accurately and within required timescales.
