We are currently recruiting for Live-In Care Assistants to join our caring and professional team in East Sussex

About the role

As a Live-In Care Assistant, you will live in our customer’s home and offer tailored support to help them remain independent, safe, and comfortable in familiar surroundings.

Live-in care gives our customers the advantage of full-time care and companionship within their home 24 hours a day. Live-in carers will work with our customers and their families, to support them with their daily routines, enabling them to stay in their home for as long as possible.

You will be providing a great deal of companionship to our customer, as well as supporting their health and wellbeing, which will include helping them with daily living activities, such as making drinks, chatting, cooking, light domestic duties and some personal care.

Live-in Care Assistants are also a source of emotional support and friendship, so compassion and consistency are an essential part of being an outstanding carer.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Support with daily routines and activities
  • Meal preparation and nutritional support
  • Socialising, leisure activities, accessing the community
  • Help with washing & dressing
  • Light housekeeping and help with daily tasks
  • Promoting mobility, comfort, and safety in the home

What we are looking for

  • Experience in supporting adults with dementia
  • Warm, caring, patient and sensitive
  • Self-motivated, well-organised & reliable
  • Committed to maintaining our highest standards of care
  • Good communication and observational skills
