Meet The Lewes and Wealden Team
Mark Thompson
Managing Director
Following a successful career in sales and sales management and then as Managing Director for a distribution business, Mark decided it was time for a complete change and wanted to join an industry where “people” were at the very core of the business.
In 2021, Mark joined Caremark’s head office team, as their Director of Franchise Recruitment, and saw at first hand the fantastic care and support services that Caremark offices provided to local communities across the UK.
Mark could see how much people of all walks of life rely on Caremark’s care assistants and care teams, not only the individuals who are receiving Caremark’s care and support, but also for providing comfort and reassurance to their families and friends.
In Mark’s opinion, “Caremark have the best values, culture, expertise, passion and commitment to make life better for thousands of people.”
He was so impressed with the business concept and company values that he decided to set up his own Caremark office in Newhaven, to provide companionship, care and support services to those across the Lewes and Wealden North region.
Mark wants to ensure that his team deliver the very best care to everyone within the community. He passionately believes that everyone should have the right to remain living in their own home and be given the care and assistance to do so as safely and securely as possible.
Respecting the rights and values of his customers and improving their quality of life is the number 1 priority for Mark and his team.
To achieve this, he knows that his own team must share the same values and beliefs, and must be fully supported with the right training, motivation and career opportunities.
Mark spends his free time with his wife and their two dogs, seeing family and friends and spinning at the gym.
