What have we been up to?

We have all been busy here at Caremark Ashford and Shepway ensuring our customers are living their best life and welcoming more Care Assistants to join our team.

Taking customers out into the community is so vital for their mental health but also our Care Assistants mental health too. We aspire to ensure both our customers and staff are supported the best we can.

This can include keeping them busy with some pom pom making, going out for walks, lunches and cinema visits for our customers and supervision meetings for our staff.

Following a recent supervision meeting with one of our Care Assistants who recently joined our team, she said the following: “The well being of myself and all our care assistants feels important to the management team and I feel safe and supported in my role”
