April 2023’s Care Assistant of the Month: Raquel

Raquel Vares from Caremark Sutton was nominated by several of her colleagues who truly love working with her. She goes out of her way to give the best service to her customers and is a cheerful and hardworking lady.

Each and every customer loves Raquel, she treats everyone like a member of the family. Raquel often buys supplies for her customers and cooks meals in advance. She even acquired a microwave through a charity for a customer who desperately needed one for meal preparation.

It’s not just her customers that Raquel cares for, she will often come to the rescue and help her colleagues when challenges arise and is always just a call away!

New colleagues feel at home when working with her during and after shadowing. One colleague said of Raquel: “I am learning new things from her each and every day. I admire her work and the care that she provides for her customers.” Another described her as a very caring and passionate person who does more than just her job. Raquel cares about each customer in very special way.
