At Caremark we understand that some of the daily routines that many people take for granted can become difficult or restrictive. Our role is to help you remain independent at home and to enjoy life to the full. The support we offered is truly flexible and tailored to suit you and your family’s needs.
Come and work with us
There’s a lot more to working in home care with Caremark Redcar & Cleveland than you may think.
Yes, your main role will be to visit people’s homes to provide the care which helps them to remain at home, but in many cases this is something as simple as preparing their meals and having a little chat.
We have customers with more complex care needs as well, but don’t worry, we will give you all the training you need to do this, and this personal development won’t cost you anything, so it’s win, win!
Then, there is the other side of what we do. So, we may ask you to take our customers to the beach, cafe or the shops; if you like animals (and Labrador dogs in particular), or you may wish to help with our Assisted Animal Therapy service, taking Chance, Red, Emmie and Axel into people’s homes, community centre, schools, hospitals and many other places; or you can help with one of our social events in the community which encourage social interaction and companionship. And if you would like to do all of this, then we certainly won’t stop you.
In return, we can offer you a contract with fixed hours, an hourly rate of up to £11.34, with travel time and mileage paid extra; continuous professional development at no cost to you; invites to family fun days and other staff events, the chance to win and attend our carer of the year awards, and much more.
So please do get in touch if you would like to find out more about a career in home care with us; we promise you will be surprised at how varied and rewarding it is.
