Animal Assisted Therapy
Would you, or someone you know, benefit from some canine therapy via our Animal Assisted Therapy Service?
What is Animal Assisted Therapy?
Therapy dogs are proven to help reduce stress, anxiety, loneliness or depression, and can really make a a positive difference to people’s emotional and mental well-being.
Our dogs all undergo extensive training before being signed off as therapy dogs and they are supervised by fully trained dog handlers who take them into people’s homes, care settings, community centres/venues, schools, hospices and more.
Whether it’s a home visit to someone who is bedbound, through to people who are now accessing the community for the first time in years because of the dogs, the service is already making a massive difference to lives.
Our Animal Assisted Therapy service is open to anyone so please get in touch by calling the office on 01287 634706 if you are interested in a visit from a dog(s)
