Redcar Customer Reviews
We love our customers, and they seem to love us too!
I didn’t want to lose my independence and they don’t take that off you. They allow you to make the decisions about what you want to do, what meals you want, where you want to go. I feel 200% better, with the help of the carers. I am able to get out and about and enjoy life, and quite honestly without their support I don’t think I would be here now. They have such diplomacy, are so professional and know exactly what they are doing.
Geoff did not want to go into a care home and that’s not what the family wanted either. I’m just not strong enough to help him move and so the nurses recommended we speak with Caremark. I was impressed with their professionalism from day one. I appreciate the way they talk with Geoff and how they treat him with the utmost respect. I cannot fault Caremark and I certainly couldn’t have managed without them.
The support I receive from Caremark enables me to remain at home and I can’t fault the carers; they are great and totally respect that I want to do as much for myself as I can.
Having the same carer helps Maureen because it means she has the same recognizable face each time and this reduces any challenging episodes. I cannot speak highly enough of Josie; she is absolutely brilliant and goes above and beyond to support Maureen. A good example is she knew Maureen suffers from psoriasis and even with creams it leaves her with red marks on her skin. Josie has family in Switzerland, so she arranged to have some non-prescribed liquid sent over and this has totally cleared Maureen’s skin, which means there is now one less thing to worry about. And on another occasion we were having trouble sourcing a bath chair for Maureen, so Josie used her contacts at the NHS to get us one. Having Josie here makes my life easier, and Maureen and I would be lost without her.
The support I receive from Caremark is very good. Nothing is too much trouble for them, and I love all my carers. They enable me to remain living at home, which is important to me, but also take me out as well so I can meet my family or the new friends I have made at Safe Place Tuesdays which is a great initiative. I couldn’t be happier. It really does make me feel much younger!
They are all kind and friendly, courteous, and efficient and they all need a reward. They have made a definite difference to my life in a good way. I look forward to their attention and the chats they have with me. Without their help, I would possibly have to move into a care home. They are essential.
The carers brighten my life up every day they come. They make a difference to my life by helping and supporting me with tasks I struggle with. They make me laugh and feel happy and ensure I have everything I need and want on every call.
I love all of my carers because they look after me very well. They do my shopping and buy me everything I need which includes lots of treats. They cook my favourite meals and know me so well that they can tell when I am unhappy or anxious. They keep my house clean and tidy and keep me clean and tidy too.
