Meet The Cambridge Team

Robert Johnstone
Managing Director
Having worked for many well known Retailers over the last 30 years including B&Q and Superdrug and more recently being employed as the Operations Director for B&Q’s parent company Kingfisher in Russia I wanted to open my own business and do something completely different. My wife and mother in law both work in home care and I found myself being excited by the opportunity of setting up a new business where I could add something back to the community by looking after people in their own homes and giving them a better quality of life through a well trained and caring team of support workers.

Tracey Johnstone
Director
Working in care for several years and being passionate about delivering the best standards of professional care and support it made sense for my husband and me to open the Homecare business where we can offer our services to the local community. Given the growing need for Homecare, I am looking forward to ensuring our clients in Cambridge and South Cambridgeshire get the level of service they deserve.

Jasmine Parnham
Registered Care Manager
I joined Caremark in July 2020 after always wanting to work in healthcare. During my time here, I have worked as a Care Coordinator, Field Care Supervisor, and within Audit & Compliance, which has given me a strong understanding of how each part of the service contributes to delivering high‑quality care.
I am passionate about providing a service that allows people to remain happy, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Independence matters, and even small choices make a big difference. I am committed to fairness, transparency, and high standards, and I value building strong, trusting relationships with both clients and their families.
I was delighted to be offered the opportunity to become a Care Manager, as it means I can continue working closely with both clients and carers to ensure we are providing the best service possible. Supporting my team to grow and develop is something I care deeply about, and I strive to create an environment where everyone feels confident, valued, and supported.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading and travelling and when at home, I’m always thinking about my next travel destination!

Mel Palmer
Care Coordinator
I have over 10 years of experience in care, working in both office and field‑based roles, and my real passion has always been looking after people. Over the years, I’ve built strong relationships with our customers, and supporting them has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career.
I’m now enjoying my role in the office, where I can make an even bigger impact by helping to oversee and support all of our customers. Being able to influence the quality of care we provide and ensure people feel safe, valued, and well looked after is something I take great pride in.

Charlotte Taylor
Care Coordinator
I joined Caremark in 2025 as a Business Administration Apprentice and quickly discovered how much I enjoyed working in the care sector. At the end of my apprenticeship, I was excited to be offered the role of Care Coordinator, and I’ve really valued the opportunity to take on more responsibility within the team.
I have enjoyed getting to know both our customers and the wider team, and I’m passionate about supporting people to remain independent in their own homes. Being part of their journey and helping to make day‑to‑day life a little easier is something I find incredibly rewarding.
I’m looking forward to continuing to grow in my role and contributing to the high‑quality service we provide.

Jess Woods
Field Care Supervisor
Having worked in hospitality for several years, I decided to join Caremark Cambridge in August 2022 to explore a new career and learn a different approach to supporting people. Working in care has been incredibly rewarding and has given me a real sense of purpose and satisfaction.
At the end of 2024, I was delighted to become a Field Care Supervisor. I’m really enjoying supporting both customers and staff out in the field, and I love being part of their growth and development. Building relationships, offering guidance, and helping people feel confident and supported is one of the most fulfilling parts of my role.

Tsitsi Tabvuma
Senior Carer
I worked in care for a couple of years before joining Caremark in 2024, and I was delighted to become a Senior Carer in 2025. My role allows me to work alongside Jessica supporting both staff and customers out in the field, as well as helping in the office when needed.
I am passionate about making customers feel valued, respected, and truly listened to. Building trust and offering reassurance is something that comes naturally to me, and I always aim to be a supportive, reliable presence for my colleagues too. Being a listening ear and helping others grow in confidence is one of the parts of the job I enjoy most.
I’m proud to be part of the Caremark team and to play a role in ensuring our customers receive the highest standard of care.
