Care Manager

As a Care Manager at Caremark Havering, you will play a critical role in leading and managing our care services. You will ensure the delivery of exceptional care to our customers, oversee the day-to-day operations, and drive the continued growth and development of our services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the delivery of care services, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance service quality and efficiency.
- Manage and support a team of care professionals, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of staff.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, families, and external agencies.
- Ensure effective financial management and budgeting of the care service.
- Drive business growth and development within the local community.
Requirements:
- A recognised management qualification in health and social care.
- Proven experience as a Care Manager in a domiciliary care setting is desirable, though experienced Field Care Supervisors or Care Co-ordinators, looking to take the next step up to Care Manager would be considered.
- Strong knowledge of the regulatory framework and standards in health and social care.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality care and improving service outcomes.

Care Assistant
You would be responsible for meeting the support requirements of our customers, in a way that respects the individual and promotes their independence. You would be expected to travel to the customer’s home and assist them with daily tasks as agreed between the customer and Caremark.
You will be responsible for implementing field-based quality control systems and providing support to all Care Assistants, covering calls and ensuring the service continuity.
Principal Responsibilities
Your role would include helping customers with tasks such as:
- Help with washing & dressing
- Shopping & meal preparation
- Prompting with medication
- Support with daily routines
- Respite services
- Socialising and leisure activities
- Helping customers access the community
- Support the care assistance in the field
- Covering calls
- Monitoring on call phone during the weekends on a rota with the others in the management team

Field Care Supervisor
You will be responsible for implementing field-based quality control systems and providing support to all Care Assistants.
Principal responsibilities
- Support and manage a team of Care Assistants
- To be on-call in case of emergency
- To maintain close liaison with both the Care Manager and Care Coordinator
- Act as a link between the customer and the office
- Oversee care quality control
- Monitor and supervise care service

Care Assistant

The type of support that you would be providing is no different to what would reasonably be given by a member of the person’s family. For instance, you may be providing help with bathing and dressing or domestic support.
