Shazia has been a Human Resources Professional in the fields of Performance Management, Recruitment, Learning & Development and has a Master’s Degree in Human Resources from Middlesex University – UK. Having lived all her life in Dubai, she relocated to London in 2017. While exploring various ideas to start a care business I came across Caremark and was warmly welcomed into the family. I have always been keen on social work and supporting the communities and realised that Care provides with the best platform for these. Here we get the opportunity to support Vulnerable adults and add value to better their quality of life. Along with that, this industry has the capability to open up jobs for so many and provide a meaningful career with continuous professional development.

Catherine Lai

Field Care Supervisor

Catherine joins us a field care supervisor. She come from years of experience in the care industry. Starting her career as a care assistant but she quickly moved up the career ladder due to her hard work. She was promoted to a Senior Carer then Care Coordinator and Locality Manager.

Catherine is very passionate about care and has always ensured that when she supports her clients. They are safe and their quality of life improves. She a trained chef and loves to bake and cook as well.
She is a team player and a people’s person. We are delighted to have Catherine as a part of the team as she bring her warm personality, years of experience, attention to details and delicious cakes to Caremark family.

Joseph Calem

Registered Care Manager

Joseph joins us with over 17 years of extensive experience in the care sector. His areas of expertise include brain injuries, as well as physical and learning disabilities.

After completing his Diploma in Nursing from Kingston University, Joseph began his career as a Health Care Assistant at Walton Community Hospital. Driven by a strong passion to support vulnerable individuals, he steadily progressed in his career, following his true calling in healthcare.
