Coronavirus (Covid-19) update
Caremark (Wandsworth) is fully operational and taking extra precautions to keep people safe during the Covid-19 pandemic. We are constantly monitoring and implementing the latest guidance from Public Health England (PHE).
During the Covid-19 pandemic we are operating a normal service, ready to support new and existing clients who need assistance at home.
The safety and wellbeing of the people we care for and our staff is of paramount importance. We ensure that our care assistants wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). In particular - and going above and beyond PHE guidance - all our carers wear fluid repellent ('Type IIR') face masks at every care visit, putting on a new one at the start of a care visit and disposing of it safely at the end of the visit.
Further details of how we are responding to the pandemic can be found at:
How do we provide home care services?
We begin by carrying out a thorough assessment of the client's needs by our Care Manager, Kirsty Herbert, to ensure that the care provided is completely tailored to what the client needs and wants. We then carefully match the client's needs and preferences to our Care and Support Workers, who are all hand-picked, compassionate people who we rigorously train and then monitor and support in the community. Our Care and Support Workers are always permanently assigned to a client, thereby ensuring continuity of care. They are always punctual! All our staff are thoroughly screened, checked (enhanced DBS checks) and independently vetted before they join our team. Kirsty, or our Field Care Supervisors, always personally introduces the client to the Care and Support Worker.
Our service is designed to match your particular needs and preferences as well as your budget. There is no real limit to the type of care and support we offer. It may be something as simple as a ½ hour domestic call each day at a time to suit you, or it may be providing a more complex package of personal care. Where care and support of longer duration is required, our 24 hour Live-in care service is available.
Whatever your requirements, you can be assured of the highest quality service, delivered by caring, well-trained Care and Support Workers who are there to support you in your daily routine, enabling you to live life your way.
We are proud of the excellent service we offer to all our customers and look forward to being able to assist you.
