Care Assistant (Live-in Care)

Location: Eastleigh, Hampshire
Salary: £805-£850 per week, depending on customer complexity
Hours: Full time , minimum 2-3 weeks/month

About the role

Caremark Winchester and Eastleigh is seeking a compassionate and dedicated female Live-in Carer to provide round-the-clock support to our customers in their own homes. This is a highly rewarding role where you will make a real difference in someone’s life, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

You will live in the customer’s home and provide personalised support tailored to their individual needs. This can include, but is not limited to:

 * Personal Care: Assisting with washing, dressing, and other daily routines.

 * Companionship: Providing emotional support, engaging in hobbies and activities, and being a friendly face to talk to.

 * Household Duties: Light housework, meal preparation, and grocery shopping.

 * Medication Support: Reminding and assisting with medication management.

 * Errand Running: Assisting with appointments and community access.

Key Requirements:

 * A compassionate, caring, and reliable nature.

 * A genuine desire to help others and make a positive impact.

 * Excellent communication skills.

 * The ability to work on your own initiative.

 * A good level of spoken and written English.

 * Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Care Manager

Location: Eastleigh,Hampshire
Salary: £40000
Hours: 40 Hours/Week

A highly reputable, long-established home care business in Eastleigh, covering the Winchester & Eastleigh area, seeks a Registered Care Manager to start as soon as possible.

Summary of role

To generate and promote a caring and supportive environment for our clients by implementing the highest standards of professional care and support. To manage a team of staff and encourage their development, skills and abilities.

The successful applicant will have experience in domiciliary care, ideally in a management capacity, and already hold the Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or be prepared to work towards it).

Principal responsibilities

  • To ensure that the business’s Aims & Objectives are achieved and to ensure that each client receives care and support which is appropriate to their individual needs.
  • To ensure the implementation and compliance of all relevant legislation and regulatory body guidance.
  • To ensure effective induction, training, and supervision of all staff, and to identify any further development or training needs.
  • To ensure effective communication and team building amongst all staff, including holding regular team meetings.
  • To oversee the recruitment and appointment of all staff.
  • Ensure the successful operation of quality control and risk management systems.
  • Ensure that all computerised and manual records are up to date.
  • Liaison with clients, relatives, representatives and social workers.
  • To actively participate in the growth and development of the business locally through various marketing exercises.
