Children's Care Assistant
Caremark Rotherham & Sheffield is currently recruiting for a Female Night Support Worker who is clinically trained and experienced in tracheostomy care. (This also may include PEG feeding techniques and ventilation requirements)

As a Night Support Worker, you will be working within the comfort and familiarity of our clients’ own homes, delivering person-centred care tailored to their unique needs.
Night shift times differ depending on the client needs and preference, however shifts are typically between 9-12 hours during the night.
As a Female Night Support Worker you will be required to:
- Support children and young people with complex care needs during the night
- Provide safe and effective tracheostomy care
- Monitor clients’ health and well-being throughout the shift
- Follow individual care plans and clinical procedures
- Ensure a calm, comfortable, and secure environment overnight
We are seeking a candidate who is:
- Female (Occupational requirement in line with Equality Act 2010)
- Clinically trained and experienced in tracheostomy care– (Caremark will provide full training to the right candidate)

Children's Care Assistant

At Caremark Rotherham & Sheffield, we’re looking for female Community Support Workers who drive with access to a vehicle to join our team and make a real difference to children and young people in your community.
You’ll be supporting children with a range of needs, including learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and complex or clinical care requirements. Supporting your own group of clients with everyday activities and personal goals in their homes, educational settings and the local community.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing personal care, hydration & nutrition, moving & handling support, PEG/JEJ feeding techniques, respiratory and epilepsy care.
- Supporting children to achieve their personal goals and participate in fun, meaningful activities
- Working on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis depending on client needs
- Building strong relationships with children, their families, and professionals
- Working consistent shifts – days or nights, from 4 to 12 hours per shift (daytime shifts to start between 6.30am-8am)
- Working weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
Requirements
- Female applicants only (due to the nature of client care – Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9)
- Full UK driving licence, access to a vehicle, and business insurance
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing consistent care
- Able to attend and fulfil training requirements
- Available for regular shift patterns (you’ll agree set availability upon employment, which MUST remain the same throughout your employment.)
Experience & Training
- Experience in care is welcome, but not essential – full training is provided by Caremark Rotherham & Sheffield.

About the Role:
We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and proactive female Community Mental Health Support Worker to support a young lady living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) who lives in the S35 area of Sheffield. The successful applicants must have a UK Driving Licence & Own a Vehicle.
(This post is exempt under the Equality Act 2010 – Schedule 9, Part 1. Female applicants only.)
This is a community-based role working on a 1:1 basis, involving long-day shifts on a consistent rota (including Saturdays and Sundays).
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the client’s mental wellbeing, independence, and daily living needs, i.e. personal care, mobility, medication administration and cooking.
- Engaging in community activities, especially sports and social outings
- Assisting with stoma care (full training provided)
- Driving the client in her own vehicle to attend appointments, activities, or events
- Building professional and respectful relationships with the client, her family, and external care professionals

Children's Care Assistant
Caremark Rotherham & Sheffield support Children and Young Adults living with complex care needs within the community. We are seeking WEEKEND female Support Workers to provide support to their allocated clients on a consistent regular basis.
Children who require support often still require support outside of school or weekday hours, which can be a critical time for socialisation and family respite.
As a Support Worker you will be ensuring clients safety, well-being, and engagement in meaningful activities. This role is especially important for children with additional needs and disabilities.
Support visits are provided within BLOCK hours. Ranging from 4 hours-14 hours at any one time. Supporting on a one to one or two to one basis depending on the need of the client.
To ensure consistent support is provided for your regular clients your availability needs to remain the same throughout your employment.
Full training will be provided with support and guidance from the management team to ensure competency within your role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support children and young people with daily living activities during weekends. Including personal care, medication administration, moving & handling, nutrition and hydration needs and community access.
- Work in partnership with families, caregivers, and professionals to meet the child’s individual needs.
- Promote independence, confidence, and social skills in children.
- Safeguard children by following safeguarding procedures and raising concerns appropriately.
- Complete accurate and timely records, reports, and observations.
- Provide emotional support and encouragement.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people.
- Availability to work weekends.
- Driving license and access to a vehicle.
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
