Care Assistants are required in the Forest of Dean, Coleford to Cinderford and North of the Forest including Berry Hill, Lydbrook, Drybrook, Mitcheldean, Westbury, Huntley, Boxbush, Lydney, Soudley, Newent, Staunton, Dymock and surrounding areas. Also further south into Lydney and beyond.
Benefits are a great hourly rate of £11.00 to £12 at weekends, £15 on certain Bank Holidays, travel time at National Minimum Wage and mileage at 35ppm between customers.
You would be responsible for meeting the support requirements of our customers, in a way that respects the individual and promotes their independence. You would be expected to travel to the customer’s home and assist them with daily tasks as agreed between the customer and Caremark.
The type of support that you would be providing is no different to what would reasonably be given by a member of the person’s family. For instance, you may be providing help with bathing and dressing or domestic support.
Principal Responsibilities
Your role would include helping customers with tasks such as:
- Help with washing & dressing
- Shopping & meal preparation
- Prompting with medication
- Support with daily routines
- Respite services
- Socialising and leisure activities
- Helping customers access the community

Due to the very rural nature of Herefordshire and the Forest of Dean we really need drivers with cars to get to our customers early in the morning starting at 7AM over lunch and through the evening until 10PM. We’d also prefer it if you could work every other weekend!

Live-in Care Assistant
- You must have a driving license and preferably access to a car as some customers are remote
- You must have the right to work in the UK as sponsorship is not offered by this office.

You would be responsible for meeting the support requirements of our customers, in a way that respects the individual and promotes their independence. You would be expected to live in the customer’s home and assist them with daily tasks as agreed between the customer and Caremark.

Care and Support Worker (weekends) Forest of Dean. c10-20 hours per weekend.
Pay: £12 to £15 plus mileage at 35ppm, £10.42 PH travel time, holiday pay, bonuses and pension where applicable.
