Welcome to Caremark Cardiff and the Vale.
We are a new branch of home care support services from the leading UK home care provider, Caremark. We believe in delivering the highest standard of professional care and support to those in need and who choose to remain living in their own home. We actively encourage and promote the independence of all our clients. We ensure that a person’s values and rights such as dignity, beliefs and freedom of choice are respected at all times.
We can provide care such as washing, dressing, toileting, feeding / drinking, assistance with medication, hoisting, turning, walking, wheelchair assistance. As well as support to adults such as laundry, hoovering, cleaning, taking the rubbish out, shopping, day trips, community activities, getting to and from appointments, for any adults who need some assistance to continue living at home independently, safely and comfortably.
Our individual care and support agreements are specifically tailored to meet individual needs and can develop and grow with our clients as their needs change. Support can start from a little as 30 minutes a day and increase up to 24 hour 7 days a week live in care if required.
We can support a wide range of adults living in Cardiff & The Vale of Glamorgan which could include:
•Older people
•People with dementia
•People with physical disabilities
•People with learning disabilities
•People requiring support after an illness or stay in hospital
•People requiring end of life care
We can provide person centred care and support which is planned in advance, rapid response to crisis situations or respite care. We recognise that everyone is individual and that’s why their care and support agreement is built around their own individual care needs, personal likes and dislikes. We also use a matching criteria to match the right Care & Support workers with our clients.
At Caremark Cardiff & The Vale we are a dedicated team of professional Care & Support Workers who are all passionate about raising the quality standards of home care support services. All of our Care & Support Workers are registered with the Care Council for Wales and have completed their Social Care Induction Framework qualification as a minimum. We continuously support our team to develop and enhance their skills through specialist training and professional qualifications.
