Duncan Smith
Managing Director
Inspired by the memory of his Grandfather, Murray Affleck, who was a well-known and respected GP and Consultant Physician at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary, he set up Caremark Kirklees in 2015 with the vision to become the best provider of home care in the region, delivering the highest quality of care possible in order to improve the quality of life for customers who choose to live independently in their own home.
Fiona Smith
Director – Recruitment & Marketing
Fiona started at Caremark Kirklees in August 2020. A qualified teacher, she joined her husband Duncan in the family business and leads the recruitment and induction of new care assistants, and manages our marketing activities.
Katie Fowler
Care Manager
Katie started with Caremark as a Care Coordinator in September 2020 and has worked her way up to the role of Care Manager, ensuring the smooth running of our service. Katie has achieved her Level 5 in Leadership and Management. She has over 10 years experience in managerial roles within the care sector.
Natasha Lamptey
Compliance and Training Manager
Natasha joined Caremark as a carer in 2019 and quickly impressed with her positive attitude and naturally caring nature. She became Office Administrator in September 2020 and stepped up to be a Care Coordinator in October 2021. She now oversees the smooth running of the busy office, ensuring the company is compliant with all regulatory requirements and she has recently taken on the huge responsibility for the initial training of our new care assistants and the refresher training for the rest of our staff.
Helen Murray
Senior Field Care Supervisor
Helen has a background in care, having worked as a support worker in a residential home for young people. As Senior Field Care Supervisor, she carries out assessments in customers’ homes before we start providing their care. Helen says she has never been afraid to ask questions and this helps when ensuring a customer’s care plan matches their exact needs.
Nicole Pachniuk
Field Care Supervisor
Nicole joined Caremark Kirklees as a Field Care Supervisor in October 2023 and is responsible for supporting around 40 carers, as well as carrying out assessments for new customers and helping to put care plans in place for them.
Leigh Menzies
Care Coordinator
Leigh has over 8 years experience in delivering care and support. She joined the team as a Care Coordinator in September 2022 and manages the Colne Valley area of Huddersfield.
Emily Broadbent
Care Coordinator
Emily started her career with Caremark as a carer in November 2020. Caring is in her genes – both her parents are carers and she quickly became a Senior Carer. In a further promotion in January 2023 she joined the team as a Care Coordinator and now manages the Holme Valley, Almondbury & Newsome areas.
Bethany Foleher
Field Care Supervisor
Bethany Foleher has over 10 years’ care experience, and an impressive 7 with Caremark. She has worked up to the position of part time Field Care Supervisor which involves her doing assessments with our new customers and reviews of care with existing customers. She also provides support and guidance out in the field to our care assistants. She likes to keep her skills up to date by working as a Senior Carer for part of the week. In her spare time Bethany is an avid football fan.
Kim Charlton
Office Administrator
Kim started at Caremark in November 2022. She has over 30 years’ office administration experience, more than 22 years in the primary school just up the road. She is unflappable and professional and takes excellent care of our customers, care assistants and office staff.
