HOME CARE ACROSS BRENTWOOD, BILLERICAY, WICKFORD & BASILDON NORTH

Tailored home care, dementia support and live-in care across Brentwood and Basildon North. The same trusted carer every visit. A free home assessment, no obligation.

If you’re here, something has probably changed

A fall. A diagnosis. A difficult phone call from a neighbour. Most families don’t think about home care until they have to — and when they do, they need someone they can trust, fast.

We’re a local Caremark team based in Billericay, looking after older people in their own homes across Brentwood, Basildon North, Billericay and Wickford. We don’t tick boxes. We build relationships — so your mum or dad sees the same carer every visit, and you stop worrying about who’s walking through the front door today.

Five things you’ll notice from day one.

1.

Free home assessment

Most agencies charge £75–£150 for a home visit and care plan. We don’t. Our care manager visits, listens, and builds a tailored plan — at no cost, no obligation. If we’re not the right fit, we’ll tell you.

2.

The same carer, every visit

The one thing families say makes the biggest difference. You won’t have a different person at the door each day. We match you with one or two carers who become familiar faces — and friends.

3.

Relationship-based care

We don’t run a stopwatch. Our carers are trained — and chosen — to sit, listen, share a cup of tea, and treat your loved one as a person. Professional hands-on care. A human relationship.

4.

Tailored to your love one

Two people with dementia experience it differently. Two stroke recoveries look nothing alike. Every plan we build is shaped around the individual — what they like, what they struggle with, what makes them feel like themselves.

5.

Trained in complex conditions

Our team is trained in dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, MND, stroke recovery, MS and palliative care. If your loved one has a special need, we’ll match them with carers who have the right experience.

Whatever the level of support — we’ve got it covered

Home care visits

From a 30-minute morning call to several visits a day. Help with washing, dressing, medication, meals, mobility and companionship — keeping your loved one independent in their own home.

Live-in care

A trained carer lives in your loved one’s home full-time, providing 24-hour support and companionship. The alternative to a care home — without leaving home.

Specialist dementia care

Carers trained in dementia and Alzheimer’s, working to a routine that reduces confusion and anxiety. We support your loved one — and we support you.

Elderly & long-term care

Ongoing support for older people who want to stay in the home they love. Daily visits, weekly check-ins or full live-in care — adjusted as needs change.

Respite & short-term care

Short-term cover so family carers can take a break, recover from illness, or go on holiday. From a few days to several weeks, fully tailored.

Overnight & 24-hour care

Waking-night or sleeping-night cover, plus full 24-hour packages with a rotating team — for when one carer isn’t enough.

Trained for the specific needs that brought you here

Many of the families who call us are looking for someone who has cared for a specific condition before. Our carers are trained in:

Quality home care, priced fairly

We’re not the cheapest in Brentwood — and we wouldn’t be the people we are if we were. Our carers are paid properly, trained well, and stay with us long-term, which is why so many of our families have been with us for years.

Final pricing depends on the support your loved one needs. We’ll talk you through it during the free home assessment, with no pressure to commit.

The questions families ask us most

In most cases, within 48 hours of your free assessment. For urgent situations — a sudden hospital discharge, a family carer falling ill — we can usually arrange same-day cover.

No long-term contract. Most of our families pay weekly and can adjust hours, change carers or pause care with reasonable notice. The only commitment we ask for is honesty — tell us what’s working and what isn’t.

Yes, wherever possible. We match each customer with a primary care assistant (and usually a back-up for holidays and sickness) who stays with them long-term. This continuity is one of the things families tell us matters most.

Yes. All our carers complete dementia awareness training and have worked with people living with Alzheimer’s, vascular dementia and Lewy body dementia for years. Tell us about your loved one’s diagnosis and we’ll match accordingly.

Home care visits start from £35 per hour and live-in care from £1,650 per week. The exact cost depends on the support needed — we’ll go through it together at the free home assessment.

Yes. Caremark Brentwood is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the independent regulator of health and social care in England. You can read our latest CQC report on the CQC website.

Possibly. Local councils, NHS Continuing Healthcare and Attendance Allowance can all contribute, depending on your loved one’s situation. We’re happy to point you in the right direction during your free assessment.

One short conversation usually clears more up than hours of online research. Tell us what’s going on — we’ll listen, and we’ll be honest about whether we’re the right fit.
