I’d like to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all you’ve done for both my Mum and Dad. Everyone was so kind and caring showing great compassion to us all in what were very difficult and emotional times.

Dear Care assistants,

Thank you so much for your care and attention to (Husband) over the past months and also your consideration to me. I could not have coped on my own. (Husband) is now walking with the aid of a 3 wheel rollator and a trolley. He has been upstairs and is going for mini walks daily. He just has to be reminded that he can do most things for himself now.

Dear Caremark, I would like to thank your organisation for the care you provided for our late mother in her last days. A special mention for (Name of Carer) – the first home visit job I understand outside the care home environment. She made an excellent impression on all of us, most importantly our mother who was not always tolerant!

My Mum, my sister and myself would like to thank each and everyone of you for the care you have given Dad over the last few months. You have all shown such kindness and consideration towards him. Some of you have visited him more frequently than others and with your friendly chat about your families, homes, holidays and even weddings, both Mum and Dad looked on you as friends and looked forward to seeing you each day. It is because of you all that Dad was able to fulfill his wish to die at home and we thank you dearly for that.
