Charles Folkes

Chairman

Charles opened Caremark Redcar & Cleveland in 2008, with the vision to become the best provider of home care in the region. The focus is on delivering the highest quality of care possible in order to improve the quality of life for the people Caremark Redcar & Cleveland supports.

Michelle Jackson

Managing Director

Michelle originally joined Caremark Redcar and Cleveland as a Care and Assistant and then Compliance Coordinator, before being promoted to the role of Care Coordinator and Care Manager. As Managing Director she has played an instrumental role in advocating for a better deal for carers nationally, on TV and radio.

Danielle Laverick

Care Manager

Danielle joined Caremark as a Care Assistant in 2010. She was soon promoted to Field Care Supervisor and Care Plan Coordinator, and then Assistant Manager. In 2021, she was promoted to the position of Care Manager, giving her responsibility for all aspects of the day-to-day running of the company.

Jo Cairnes

Assistant Manager

Jo joined Caremark as a Care Assistant in 2012 before being promoted to Field Care Supervisor. In her current role as Assistant Manager, she supports our Care Manager in the field.

Gemma Dixon

Care Co-ordinator

Gemma joined Caremark as a Care Assistant in 2014. She then became a Field Care Supervisor and Medication Assessor before taking on her current role as Care Coordinator.

Elle Powell

Care Co-ordinator

Elle is a Care Coordinator covering East Cleveland. She also continues to provide care to cover holidays, sickness and weekends.

Tracey Sampson

Care Co-ordinator

Due to the high demand of care in Redcar, Tracey was employed as a Care Coordinator in 2018 to support this area, as well as helping with care calls.

Paige Rowell

Care Co-ordinator

Paige joined us a carer in May 2019 and just six months later was promoted to Care Coordinator for the Middlesbrough and Guisborough area.

Kelly Richardson

Care Coordinator

Kelly started at Caremark as a carer in November 2017. She showed excellent care skills, was very thorough in her work and reporting concern, and was promoted to the position of Field Care Supervisor for the Guisborough and Middlesbrough area in June 2019.

Since starting at Caremark aged 17, Amy has had various promotions, going from carer to rapid carer, senior care and now field care supervisor in Redcar, where she oversees the work of 60 carers.

Linda Teasdale

East Cleveland Area Manager

Linda started at Caremark as a carer in July 2017. A very popular carer who is very dedicated to her role and ensuring her customers always had the best care, Linda worked with many new carers to show them the ropes. She was encouraged to apply for the role of Field Care Supervisor for East Cleveland and was successful and now covers the same patch as an Area Manager.

Sadie Dowson

Sadie Dowson chose to work at Caremark after being inspired by the care we provided to her late grandfather. Her natural caring personality has endeared her to our customers, and we were so impressed with her progress that we promoted her to Field Care Supervisor in 2022.

Recruitment Officer

Michelle joined Caremark as a Care Assistant and now works at head office as our Recruitment Coordinator where she looks after all the recruitment needs of the company.

Gaynor joined Caremark in 2012 and has performed a number of roles over the years, before taking on her current position as Recruitment Officer.

Janet Morgan

Training Manager

Janet joined Caremark Redcar and Cleveland as Field Care Supervisor in 2011. A qualified Occupational Therapist, Janet became our Training Manager in 2013 and now trains all new staff when they join Caremark, as well as providing ongoing training to all staff.

Kelly Brearley

Training Officer

Kelly started working for Caremark in 2014 following an 18-year career as a nurse. She has worked in a number of roles before taking on the current position as Training Officer where she uses her nursing and homecare experience to help train new and current members of staff.

Emily Cairnes

Training Coordinator

Emily first joined Caremark Redcar and Cleveland as an Administration Assistant. She is now our Training Coordinator but also helps put in lots of other ways at head office!

Gillian originally joined Caremark Redcar and Cleveland as a Care Assistant and worked her way up to the role of Care Coordinator, before taking on her current role as Care Plan Assessor.

Yvonne Jones

Care Planning Coordinator

Yvonne joined Caremark as a Care Assistant in 2013, but is now our Care Planning Coordinator, playing an important role writing all of our customers’ care plans.
