Meet The Oldham Team
Charlene Buckley
Care Manager
“I have worked at Caremark Oldham for 12 years now and started my career here as a care and support worker. I love working in care and only live locally myself so Caremark is a big part of my life. I progressed to an office based role and then worked my way up. I finally took over as Care Manager in September 2023. Myself and the office team pride ourselves on ensuring high standards of care are delivered and that clients feel they are receiving person centered care. Our CSW’s are safe in the knowledge that we offer an open door policy which creates a nice working environment and staff feel listened to and supported by us. We have a fantastic team of care and support workers here who all strive for the same goals as us.
Katie Nolan
Care Coordinator
I have worked in care for over 10 years’ in a number of different roles and settings. I joined Caremark as a carer in 2021. After a while I was promoted to an advanced carer, which involves introducing new staff members into their role. Following that, I have further progressed into my current role, and have been enrolled onto the Level 5 management course. I really enjoy working for Caremark, and being able to make a difference to people’s life’s for the better. The office staff and management are really helpful and approachable, which makes coming to work enjoyable.
Brian Collins
Field Care Supervisor
I started at Caremark in March 2023, prior to this position I was a Regional Trainer for the North West of England. My current role here is F.C.S and my favourite things about this job is meeting new and existing clients, their families and also working with the C.S.W’s. I hope I can help to train and develop there excellent skill sets whilst also being a pillar of support for them. I also have a big input into the assessments and audit systems within the office. I am meticulous in my work ethics and also pride myself on being approachable and friendly.
I spent 10 years in the Armed Forces and travelled the world gaining a very varied career which I thoroughly enjoyed but feel very grounded and settled here now at Caremark.
Karan Jones
Field Care Supervisor
I have worked in care intermittently for over 20 years, in particular supported people who live at home in the community. I have many qualifications and have progressed with Caremark – I have qualified as a moving and handling facilitator, a dementia champion and have recently started my H&S Care Level 3, and a M&H Level 2.
I have worked at Caremark for 5 years now and my job role requires me to liaise closely with the CSW’s and the clients, ensuring any issues are dealt with efficiently and effectively.
I enjoy my job at Caremark because it is a kind and friendly place to work. I assist in training the staff to enable them to become an excellent CSW. I have always been a people’s person all through my life. I have worked in the care sector for such a long time which I find is a rewarding role – seeing the clients smile and feel comfortable with the care we give is very satisfying.
