Rakhi Patel is the Director of Caremark Hackney, bringing 18 years of dedicated experience in the health and social care sector. Rakhi’s career began at just 18 years old as a Care Assistant in a residential care home. Motivated by a desire to help individuals maintain their independence, Rakhi progressed into community care, experiencing firsthand every aspect of supporting people in their own homes.
Rakhi Patel holds a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (Health and Social Care), the gold standard for leading high-quality care services. Having worked at multiple levels within the sector over nearly two decades, Rakhi understands firsthand what it takes to deliver truly personalized support that respects the independence and dignity of every client.
As Director, Rakhi Patel is passionate about raising the standard of home care across Hackney by building a highly skilled, empathetic team that families can implicitly trust.
When not dedicated to supporting the Hackney community, Rakhi’s time is happily stolen by their 6-year-old daughter, who keeps her busy, grounded, and constantly reminded of the importance of family.

I am bringing 16 years of experience to this role.
I changed my career in 2010 as I felt that I had a lot to offer individuals who needed any kind of support to receive this in a positive way which enabled them to retain their independence and to ensure their voice was heard. I starred my career in Extra care and I am delighted to showcase my transferable skills to home care.
I have obtained my level 5 diploma in leadership in health and Social Care and I also have Level 5 in the institute of leadership and management which is a leading UK based awarding organisation and part of City and Guilds which provides training in coaching mentoring and management.
I believe that each individual should have the care they deserve delivered in a professional, positive and respectful manner. I endeavour to work alongside management to build a team who have empathy and understanding.
In my personal time, I spend a lot of time with my family and friends. I have three children and three grandchildren who I totally adore. I am very passionate about my Christian life and my mantra is to be kind to everyone
