Meet The Glasgow West Team

Neil Wilson
Managing Director
With a background and degree in Finance and Economics and a string of successful businesses behind him in various fields including Software, Events and Talent Management; Glasgow born and bred Neil is throwing himself enthusiastically into the world of domiciliary care, which for him is a deeply personal venture:
“My wonderful mum Milly was diagnosed with dementia in 2022 and as a family we looked after her as well as we could at home for as long as we could, delivering that all important care. We also received visits from external carers during this period of time. The issues facing them and as a result us as a family and most importantly Mum were stark. Ultimately, they lacked the time, consistency, support, knowledge and skills to provide mum with the level of care she required. I knew at this moment there was no option, when the time was right I would give everything to bring about a huge change and improvement in the level of care being provided to the people of Glasgow. That time is now. With my first hand experience, I know what families want and need for their loved ones, I know exactly what is required from myself and our team to achieve this and I am resolutely determined to deliver the highest quality of care to the people of Glasgow and build a lasting legacy in Mum’s honour.”
I am proud to open the first Caremark Office in Scotland and backed by Caremark’s exceptional knowledge, support and experience, we are tremendously excited to serve and improve lives across our local communities in Glasgow West, a place I have lived all my life.”
Away from the office, you will likely find me watching or playing Sport, spending time with loved ones or firing up the BBQ…when the weather in Glasgow allows!
