To all the staff and carers at Caremark
We would both (Sue and Stewart) like to thank you all for the wonderful care and attention you gave to John which in his own way I am sure he appreciated. I can imagine knowing him for as long as did, that it can't always have been easy because he could be very stubborn when he wanted to be.
Once again we can't thankyou enough for everything you did for John particularly in the later months and at the end.
With best wishes for the futureSue and Stewart04/02/2019

I am writing to thank you and your company for the excellent care provided by Caremark to my wife during my respite in July.
In particular I wish to express my thanks to Lorna C who provided excellent care, including administration of medication, 24 hour care and feeding using NG tube and driver, in addition to working with the District Nurses.
She also went the 'extra mile' in cleaning and tidying up the house leaving it in a far better condition than she found it.
I'll have no reservation in using your company on future breaks and recommending you to othersKen H01/08/2018
Sharon is doing so well and her support staff are working really well with her. I don't think we dreamed the support would work as well as it has. Long may it continue!Joanne - Social Worker20/07/2018
A Personal Time
I have been receiving funding from South Sefton because I have been on a Section 3 of the Mental Health Act, an order holding you for that minimum time while they stabilise and manage your medicine.
When you leave an acute psychiatric until you are subjected by your local council on a Section 7. That’s the umbrella that provide my funding for Care Agencies, Community Psychiatric Nurse or Social Worker.
After 17 years my mental health is STABLE. The hardest part is finding a Care Company that are doing it for the right reasons not just money grabbing. I’ve had them all! “We will do this, we will provide that, help you with your shopping, help with house chores. People have just looked down their noses at me when I asked them to freshen up my bathroom. Transport let downs, not allowed in carer’s cars because of their insurance, carer’s done up to the nines. Seriously I had one company owe me 70 hours of care and they took the money and dropped me! I was so weary when I had my managers meeting with Caremark I was sceptical, but the manager was in a tidy uniform (I’m ex-army). My head said, “here we go again” but my heart said, “you’ve found them”.
After 3 weeks with Caremark we were all synchronised, we flowed, on my Wednesday my medication is collected and then my carer talks me through any problems I had the previous week, and we clean my flat. Thursday is my shopping day but unfortunately, I have Post traumatic stress disorder and I don’t like everyone around me so the first time this poor lady was virtually running to keep up with my striding around in my haste to get home! Now it is done in a more sedate pace due to my support worker talking gently to me and heling me stay focussed on the task. I suffer panic attacks, and this helps me stay calm. Friday is lucky dip day! We might watch a film, take the dog to the beach etc. With Thanks to Caremark I’ve got an aim and a plan. I’m going to community college when the academic year begins and I’m stable, happy and relaxed and mostly I have hope. It’s taken a long time and the Caremark company are young but hand in hand we can go a long way, because this company will bend over backwards to help you and I feel relieved because I know I’m not going to be let down. They welcome feedback too so I feel I have a voice and I am being heard.
Thank you, Caremark. You will never know how appreciated you are.Miss S27/06/2018

Thank you and all the girls who visited for their care and kindness, given so courteously Caroline was Ray's main carer and we were able to thank her personally on the last day. Please pass on my thanks to all the other ladies - Ray appreciated them all.
We go, again, to the Walton Centre tomorrow, and I hope they will see an improvement.

Having reviewed my care I am gradually improving, and feel that I have improved to the point where I can deal with the care needed myself. I would therefore like to discontinue the support from yourselves.
The care I have received from your ladies was extremely good and I am grateful for the courteous way they have dealt with me. Please convey my thanks and good wishes to them.Irene H06/03/2018
Your girls always go above and beyond, however I would like to thank Michelle especially for yesterday. I returned home and Michelle had her ipad with her and was showing my husband the boat he was on in the war and reading about its history afterwards. Understandably this was of real interest to him and stimulated him - just what he wants!
Thank you to all of your carersBeryl D27/02/2018
To all at Caremark
Just a note to say a big 'Thank You' for the homecare that you gave to my Mum - Katti - while she was still living at home. The girls who looked after her were marvellous and I know she looked forward to them coming in.
I'd like to give a special mention to Diane and Michelle (who Mum saw most of the time), the attention they gave her was amazing. As I don't live locally (Bristol) it was especially comforting to me knowing that Mum was in their very capable hands - I can't thank them enough.
Mum has now moved into a Care Home In Blundellsands initially for convalescence following her last stay in hospital. However, I doubt very much that she will ever be strong enough to return home and live on her own again. If any of the girls want to call in, I know that she would be thrilled to see them.
Once again thank you for everything
Kind regardsGill A05/02/2018
I thought I would drop you a short line to put on record my appreciation for the excellent care services you are providing for my mother. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for the care and friendship you have all shown to my mother Alice over the last couple of years.
It is with great regret that we took the decision to move her into residential care but we were left with little choice especially when it came to light that she had started wondering.
You have all been wonderful and I would to mention Sue, Amy and Sharon in particular.

I would like to pass on my thanks for the excellent care provided to my mum by Leah, Amy and Jenny. Their professional , caring and helpful ways have also helped me in what has been a difficult time knowing that my mum has been so well cared for. Nothing seems too much trouble for them, they have exceeded all the expectations I had. My mum calls them 'her ladies' and she will miss their daily visits and little chats.Karen N12/01/2017

My husband's care and support worker is a very kind and happy man.
He (Billy) listens and talks to Ray who is unable to speak. He is a very good worker, he is well trained and he does not rush his work. He takes pride in his work
He has helped me and I don't know how I managed before Billy came.Mrs I06/12/2016
Thank you for looking after a friend of mine who has advanced dementia. You assigned consistent and compassionate carers who all got to know my friend well and worked hard to ensure her needs and wishes were well met, even when it was very difficult for her to communicate with them because of her condition. Her regular carers were all wonderful, and the office was also supportive and responsive , often reacting to unusual requests at very short notice.
When it became impossible for my friend to remain at home , her carers wrote such detailed notes for the team at her residential home that it made the transition much easier for my friend than we feared it may be.

Dear Renatta and all the Caremark girls
Thank you so much for all the wonderful care you gave to Joe (my Uncle) in the months before he died. You really were a lifeline for him and Kathleen and I know how much he relied on you all coming in to cook for him and Kath. You really made a great difference to his life in his final months and I thank you with all my heart.
It was wonderful that you all came to his funeral and hugely appreciated. It said a lot about the care and kindness that you have given to him.
With very best wishes and thanks to you all.Noreen R13/05/2016
Dear Mr Richards
I am so grateful to you and your staff for delivering the most wonderful service to my parents during their recent difficulties.
That you were able, at less than 12 hours' notice, to put together a care team to look after Mum whilst Dad had his completely unexpected stay in hospital is a credit to your business.
Each of the four carers who attended during the 24 + hours that they were needed, some of whom hadn't met Mum before, were really great to deal with and nothing was too much trouble. Mum was the centre of attention and was most wonderfully looked after, do please pass our thanks to them.
The entire family are extremely grateful to you and your team for making what was an extremely challenging period a lot less stressful than it might otherwise have been.
Be assured that I will not hesitate to recommend you and your company.
Kind regardsSid Ludlow20/04/2016
Lucia was supporting a lady, Mrs H who required peg feeding and the tube became blocked. Lucia immediately contacted the District Nurse and awaited her arrival calmly reassuring the lady all would be ok. The District Nurse arrived and thanked Lucia for how well she handled a challenging situation. When her son heard what had happened later that day he was so grateful to Lucia and rang the office to express his gratitude and thanks.
The following week a lady in Crosby required live-in care allowing her son in-law John, who is also an experienced Care and Support Worker to go home to visit his family and friends. Having been in care for 15 years John was very specific as to the care that his mother in-law required leaving precise guidelines. On returning a week later he could not praise Lucia enough. John said that he had used a number of providers in the past and the carers had all done what they felt was best for his Mother- in law – Lucia had supported her Plan exactly as requested. As a result of her attention to detail Caremark will be supporting this lady again.
Our client Mrs E had had a stroke and has dementia and requires 24 hour live-in care. She has speech difficulties especially when she becomes anxious. Within 24 hours Lucia had gained the trust of Elsie and had developed a communication chat of all the words that the Mrs E had difficulty pronouncing, she also assisted her with her communication skills by drawing pictures. Within a week she was communicating well with her. Mrs E’s sister, has contacted the office saying that she wants Lucia to continue to support her sister from now on.3 different clients12/04/2016

Can I take this opportunity to thank you on behalf of myself and my family for the care that my father received from Leroy.
Dad enjoyed his company and benefited greatly from the quiet, respectful and gentle assistance provided by Leroy. It meant that Joan and I could have an undisturbed sleep knowing Dad was in good hands.
Leroy had some difficult nights' to deal with and often went above and beyond the call of duty. He made a very stressful time for us just a little bit easier.
Please pass on our very grateful thanks to him.

I write to thank you for the support you gave to my Mother and Father when they came to Southport for Remembrance Sunday. Unfortunately my Mother could not settle in the Hotel and I had to come and collect her but you continued to look after my Father visiting him daily and taking him to the Service at the Monument.

Our whole family really want to express our thanks to Caremark for your care and support for the past few months. We have been impressed by the proficient way in which you have consistently and reliably provided the help and support that Mum wanted. All your staff have been sensitive, kind and genuinely caring, always paying attention to Mum's wishes and preserving her dignity throughout.
We feel that we must particularly thank Lynne and Lucia for the way in which they helped and encouraged Mum during the last week or two while she was at home. Lynne came to help several times at short notice when Mum could not cope, worked extraordinarily hard and often had excellent suggestions of ways to make life a little bit easier. Lynne was able to maintain a friendly and cheerful manner, yet in a way that was always professional. Lucia was wonderfully gentle, kind and patient when Mum was really struggling; and still quietly wrote up the notes, took good care of hygiene and medical support, while remaining sensitive at all times.
We have been truly humbled by the combination of care and professionalism which you have all shown and, as a small token, hopefully some flowers will arrive in the next day or two.David and Carol S (Crosby)02/08/2015

When I came out of hospital I was in need of a carer to help me to get dressed in the morning, prepare my breakfast and tidy up.
Leanne came at 9.00 every morning for 6 weeks. I was feeling very depressed and when Leanne arrived, she let herself in and came upstairs all smiles and it felt like a breath of fresh air.
Leanne prepares a perfect breakfast and we soon become good friends. I have only corrected her once for using too much Fairy Liquid when washing the dishes!
Now I realise how quick and efficient Leanne was.Cyril R Litherland03/09/2014

Because I am badly disabled through arthritis, and live alone, I feel more confident to have somebody with me for an hour in a morning to help me shower and get dressed.
I applied to Caremark (Sefton) and I now have Stephanie from 8.30 - 9.30am which is a great help. She tidy's the bathroom, makes my bed, and then makes my breakfast and any other little jobs that need doing.
She is reliable, has a friendly personality, always on time and a pleasure to have.
If for any reason Stephanie is unable to come, Caremark make sure somebody else comes in her place.LS28/09/2013
