Andrew Key

Director

Andrew brings over 24 years of leadership and engineering experience from his distinguished career in the Royal Navy, where he specialised in team management, engineering operations, safety reviews, and strategic planning. His military background has honed his skills in conflict resolution, quality assurance, and process improvement, all of which he now leverages as a trusted leader within Caremark Chichester.

As a Director, Andrew is committed to delivering exceptional homecare services, guiding the team with a focus on professionalism, compassion, and continuous improvement. His disciplined approach and dedication to high standards ensure that clients and their families receive the best possible support in their daily lives. Outside of work, Andrew enjoys outdoor activities such as kayaking, climbing, and motorbiking, as well as spending quality time with his family.

Ellie Chapman

Ellie Chapman

Registered Care Manager

Ellie has worked in the care sector for 35 years. She started her journey in care in a care home serving breakfasts before school, worked in various care homes doing mainly night work until Ellie was 24, then branched into working with people with learning disabilities.

Ellie worked for a private company for 14 years, who had at the time 2 homes supporting people with learning disabilities.

They then branched out and built a purpose-built unit and a day centre supporting people with severe challenging behaviour and learning disabilities, Ellie started as a day activity co-ordinator until she worked her way up succeeding in various roles to become day centre manager.

Ellie was approached to support in other homes in the country, working closely with managers to teach staff to work in a person-centred way. At this point Ellie became the inclusion lead for the company. Ellie has gained many qualifications and has an extensive knowledge in person centred care and inclusion.

Ellie started to work for Caremark Worthing and Adur in 2014 after being made redundant. Ellie started as a care coordinator and worked her way up to deputy manager where she deputised for the manager for a year while she was taking maternity leave.

In 2018 Ellie was offered a position to be the Registered care manager of Caremark Chichester. Ellie strives to deliver person centred care to all customers always putting them at the centre of everything she does. Ellie has an amazing team and is proud to be the manager of Caremark Chichester.

Claire Francis

Care Coordinator

Claire came to Caremark in April 2021 as a Care and Support Worker, having always previously worked in administration and customer services.  She really enjoyed being a carer and over time worked her way up to Supervisor, and now Care Co-ordinator. Her passion is helping people to live to their full potential.

Tom Spear

Care Coordinator

Tom has worked within the care sector for 9 years. He started as a care assistant in a local care home before moving to Caremark Chichester in 2022. During his time at Caremark Chichester he has progressed from a care and support worker to a supervisor, before joining the office team full time in 2023 as a care coordinator, showing progression is truly encouraged and supported.  He thoroughly enjoys his role and the diverse challenges faced each. day.

Phyllis Gorrian

Deputy Manager / Trainer

With a career spanning nursing, care, and community work since 1982, Phyllis is passionate about delivering person-centred care.  After caring for her parents at end of life, she transitioned to roles in IT, business, and volunteer work for a short time before returning to care.  Joining Caremark in 2016, and as a natural people person she developed into the in house trained where her display of strong management and leadership skills aligning perfectly with the Deputy Manager position in Chichester.  Phyllis describers her role as being a privilege to work with a dedicated team to provide exceptional homecare.
