We are delighted to be hosting our third free community coffee and cake morning. This event aims to bring people together for companionship, games and of course cake! Our previous two Coffee and Cake mornings have been such a great success, we want to continue these mornings on a monthly basis.

So why not join us at our next coffee morning? We are inviting all our clients and anybody else who would like to come.

Who is our May Coffee and Cake morning for?

Do you have a loved one that would enjoy some companionship? Everyone is welcome to this free event where we will provide coffee, cake and some light entertainment.

Loneliness in older people is a common issue that can have significant impacts on their physical and mental well-being. In Gloucestershire, like many other areas, older individuals can experience loneliness due to factors such as isolation, loss of friends or family members, health issues that limit their social interactions, lack of transportation, or living alone.

Come along, have a natter, maybe make some new friends in your local area.

Caremark aims to support the communities that we serve and help combat loneliness later in life.

We will also have information available if you are interested in working in the care sector.

Caremark's May Coffee & Cake Morning

It is important for family members, friends, neighbours, and community members to be aware of the issue of loneliness amongst older people and take steps to support and engage with them. Simple gestures like regular check-ins, visits, phone calls, or inviting them to social gatherings can make a big difference in combating loneliness and improving their quality of life.

You may not know it, but we offer many solutions including a remote care service. Connecting you to your care team, family and friends.

If you or someone you know is experiencing loneliness in Gloucestershire, reaching out to local support services or charities specialising in care for older people can provide valuable assistance and guidance. Remember, no one should have to feel alone, and there are resources available to help combat loneliness in older individuals. In addition, we offer Companionship services:
