Domestic care and housekeeping services

You or your loved one might think of help in the home as support with personal care, including getting dressed or undressed and support with medication or mobility around the home, but many of our clients also ask Caremark for help with domestic care or housekeeping.

Introducing Caremark’s domestic care services

Support with some of life's more tedious tasks such as emptying the bins or changing the bed sheets and dusting, can be very physically demanding and often we find clients simply cannot manage to do them due to being older and less able bodied or having physical disabilities.

Relief from the pressure of chores

For older clients, it can be a great help to hand the daily chores over to someone else. Delegating these tasks to Caremark means that you able to save your time and energy for more important things in life, like spending time with your family and friends.

Putting you or your loved one in control

Our care assistants understand that everyone has their own unique way of doing things and their own personal standard of housekeeping. You or your loved one will be in control of the services we provide, and we will be happy to carry out tasks according to your or your family member's preferences and requirements. We understand that you/they may have spent years keeping up with domestic duties and that trusting someone else with that responsibility may feel a little strange at first.

We’re thorough

When we go through your housekeeping requirements with you, we'll take special note of any preferences or priorities. These can include products you’d like us to use, and even fragile items to be aware of. We leave no stone unturned to ensure a fantastic service

Peace of mind

To ensure the highest standard of care and give you the ultimate peace of mind, our services in England are regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). We’ll follow you or your loved one’s lead

We're sensitive to how you or your loved one might be feeling about having extra domestic help. The last thing we want to do is tread on anyone’s toes or leave anyone feeling disenfranchised. Our aim is to help our clients to remain independent and in their own homes for as long as possible so we'll encourage any tasks you or your loved one might like to work with our care assistant on together. We’ll look to you or your loved one for guidance and instruction on how you/they would like something done wherever possible.
