Positive CQC report
Caremark (Redcar and Cleveland) has received a positive inspection report from the national care regulator.
The company was found to be meeting all the essential standards of quality and safety following the Care Quality Commission's Review of Compliance, which all providers of adult social care and health care services have to undergo.
Caremark (Redcar and Cleveland) were reviewed on five standards - respecting and involving people who use services, care and welfare of people who user services, requirements relating to workers, supporting staff and complaints.
The organisation was found to be meeting (compliant) with all the standards, which is the highest rating the CQC provides.
As part of the inspection, several Caremark (Redcar and Cleveland) clients were spoken to about the care and support they receive and comments included:
"They are a brilliant care company and a lovely bunch of people. I can't praise them enough."
"I am involved in my care. I choose what I want to do and when I want to do it."
"The carers are very good at maintaining my dignity."
"I have used a lot of domiciliary care providers but Caremark is the best."
Caremark (Redcar and Cleveland) Managing Director Charles Folkes said: "We are pleased to receive such a positive report from the CQC and I am particularly delighted with the excellent feedback from our clients.
