Caremark (Redcar and Cleveland) has further increased its office space to enable it to keep up with demand for its services.
We have opened a new, dedicated training room at the Bow Street Business Centre in Guisborough.
Just yards from our main office in the Business Centre, the training room is being used as part of the induction process for new staff, as well as ongoing training for all our 230 staff.
Caremark (Redcar and Cleveland) Managing Director Charles Folkes said: “Two years ago, we more than doubled our office space by moving to larger premises at the Bow Street Business Centre.
“This included a room where, until now, we have carried out all our training.
“However, as demand for our services continues to increase, it means we have taken on more staff and the old room was no longer big enough to enable us to carry out induction training with new starters.
“We also need to be able to carry out regular ongoing training with existing staff, covering areas such as moving and handling, fluids and nutrition, safeguarding and medication, so when more space became available at Bow Street, we were quick to snap it up.
“The new training room is much larger than the old one and whilst it is just a few yards away from our main office, it now provides a standalone, dedicated space which meets all our training needs.
“This is important as we continue to grow and need to recruit more staff to enable us to keep up with demand for our home care services.”
