Anxiety - Behind Closed Doors

Around a quarter of all people in the UK are recognised as suffering from anxiety, an often hidden and yet debilitating condition. The number of people reporting symptoms of anxiety are increasing at an alarming rate, however, despite the recent numbers of celebrities and public figures opening up about their anxiety in the media, many people still suffer in silence, perhaps due to the stigma that is often still attached to mental health issues, fear, or not yet recognising or acknowledging their symptoms.

But 'the parent talk' can be less stressful for all concerned if dealt with early and whilst the first option on the table is some care and support at home...

Who Cares about the Carers?

The UK’s population is growing at an unprecedented rate. There are now over 65,648,000 of us breathing the same air, and this figure is predicted to top 74 million by 2039. With services becoming increasingly poor and difficult to pay for, many are choosing to just get on with it and take on the role themselves. This scenario comes with problems of its own...
