During July and August 2021, Caremark Maidstone underwent an inspection from the Care Quality Commission. The inspection was completed by two Inspectors, and an Expert by Experience (somebody with personal experience caring for or being cared for).
The inspectors spoke to five of our customers and their relatives about their experience using Caremark Maidstone. The inspectors also spoke to five members of staff including Natasha; our Managing Director, Krystal; our Registered Manager and three care staff.

After sifting through a number of care records, medicine records, staff files and records relating to the management of the care service, as well as our policies and procedures, the inspectors notified us that we’d received a “Good” rating across all criteria. This means our care service is rated Good in all 5 of the key criteria: Safe, Effective, Care, Responsive, and Well-Led.

We are thrilled by this rating, as its testament to the level of dedication our care team shows when providing the highest quality care to vulnerable people in and around Maidstone. Commenting on this rating from CQC, Natasha, our Managing Director said “Thank you to all our amazing staff – our care team who go above and beyond each and everyday, our supervisors out on the field providing support, and all our office staff who continue to operate our service. I’d particularly like to thank Krystal, our Registered Care Manager who always without question, does everything she can to support all our customers and our staff, ensuring that they’re all feeling supported. No mountain is too high for Krystal – she’s an inspiration to our staff, and our service users admire her commitment to care. I’m so pleased to celebrate this achievement with everyone at Caremark Maidstone!”
