As we continue our exciting growth journey, we are looking for a dedicated and motivated Finance Assistant to contribute to our team.

Caremark Ltd is a wholly UK-owned and operated home care franchise with an established and successful UK-based network.

Summary of the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful Finance Assistant to join our team. Reporting to the Finance & Payroll Manager, you will support our finance operations, manage customer and supplier records on SAGE, assist with payroll and invoice runs, and ensure accurate data entry.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a knack for multitasking, and a commitment to meeting strict deadlines. If you have experience with Sage, a solid understanding of financial processes, and a passion for contributing to the success of a collaborative team, we want to hear from you! Join us in this vital role and be a key player in our finance department.


  • Manage customer and supplier records in Sage 50, including Direct Debit mandates.
  • Chase suppliers for VAT invoices and check against Pos.
  • Submit weekly spreadsheets to the local authority and monitor outstanding ones.
  • Oversee accounts inbox and process POs, invoices, and payroll tasks.
  • Add and verify carer mileage and upload finance tips on social media.
  • Complete invoice runs and credit card reconciliation regularly.
  • Assist the Finance & Payroll Manager with payroll and processing expenses.

  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel
  • AAT Level 2 qualified (Preferred but not mandatory)
  • SAGE experience preferred.
