Re:Source “Training and Mentoring Programme” Graduation
This week, our directors, Richard and Emily presented graduation certificates to the students who have attended this year’s Re:Source Training & Mentoring Programme.
Everyone at Caremark would like to extend a huge congratulations to all of the young people who completed this year’s initiative!
Sophie from Re:Source explains a bit about the programme below.
“Re:Source is a programme from Bangor Elim Church that works with students from Killard House School and Orchardville, young adults between 16-25 with learning disabilities.
The programme is a training and mentoring programme that aims to provide an opportunity to learn new skills in various work based environments, with the intention that the experience the students gain will help them secure a job in the future. Our main areas of work experiences are in Bangor Foodbank and Community Support, sorting away food and making up food parcels. Bangor Elim’s Source Tea Rooms, a café open to the public where the students of the programme help with barista duties and a car valeting service, where the students clean and valet cars inside and outside.”
As a community focused organisation, we are thrilled to be able to make a difference to these young people’s lives by sponsoring and supporting this valuable programme.
