Who will support you?
Some people can feel anxious about a Care and Support Worker visiting them at their own home, especially if it is the first time they have met. This is understandable, so Caremark do our very best to make sure that you feel really comfortable with your Care Worker before your service begins.
When choosing a Care Worker to visit you, we take into consideration your preferences and our Care Workers' skills to find the most compatible Care Worker for you. When you meet your Care and Support Worker for the first time, your Field Care Supervisor will be there to introduce you properly and answer any questions you may have.
All of Caremark's Care and Support Workers are directly employed, which means we take care of their remuneration and training. This also means that we can continually assess them and refresh their training, keeping their skills relevant and up to date.
At any point throughout your support services, you may be asked to provide feedback to Caremark about what is and isn't working for you. We actively encourage you to do this because without it, we wouldn't be aware of any changes you wanted to make.
