Who will support you?
The thought of someone new in your home is always difficult to imagine and we understand if our customers are nervous.
Safety is the most important consideration for Caremark and we take our responsibility very seriously. All Caremark offices work with a robust safeguarding policy and very closely with your local safeguarding board.
Caremark will not send a Care and Support Worker into your home without conducting all of the safety checks first. We conduct an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check and ISA Adult First checks. These help us to make sure that our Care and Support Workers pose no risk to the safety and well-being of our customers. We also request both personal and professional references for our Care Workers to make sure they are the right sort of person to look after you.
Our team of Field Care Supervisors are each given a Caremark telephone, and are available 24 hours a day in case of emergency. We will ask for your emergency telephone numbers when we first meet you, and so can respond very quickly if there is an out-of-hours emergency.
Our initial assessment also considers all the risks around you before the service begins, which means you and your family are reassured from the outset.
Confidentiality is vitally important to Caremark, and you can be assured that we will never share with anyone your personal information unless this is absolutely necessary for your safety and security.
