Hannah Drury

Managing Director

Hannah Drury is a multi-award winning young leader in the care industry.  Her interest in the sector comes from her lived experience of being a young carer to both her sister and her step father.  She is driven by deep compassion, understanding and a rigorous professional approach.  She understands first hand how the life/lives of a person/family can be transformed with the right kind of care and support.  With a deeply personal approach Hannah takes an interest in each and every customer.  She always asks: “does the quality of our care match what I would expect for my own family member”. 

This Caremark office is built around family values and Hannah ensures all our customers and members of staff feel like they are part of the wider family.  She says: “We all love what we do and this shows in the kind of service we can offer people in our community.  We believe that caring for others is the most precious service any of us can ever offer“.

Debbie Binner

Chairwoman

Debbie Binner is a highly respected communications professional and health campaigner with a background in senior management in the NHS and in central government.  She has written a best selling book https://www.amazon.co.uk/Yet-Here-Am-Womans-Story-ebook/dp/B07KC2ZWGC which charts her family’s journey caring for a child with cancer and a husband with motor neurone disease.   Debbie now sits on the board of a European organisation that campaigns for innovative treatments for children with cancer and people with rare illnesses.  She played a key role in changing regulations around research and drug development as part of Lord Maurice Saatchi’s Medical Innovation Bill.

Debbie and her husband Simon first set up Caremark in 2014 with the mission of providing the best possible family centred care in the area.  Her passion is this area is focussed on going above and beyond what is expected and ensuring all care is built around the holistic needs of all of our customers.  She is especially focussed on customer involvement in building and improving the service.

Daren Kannayya

Registered Care Manager

Daren has been named the national Caremark Care Manager of the Year 2023.  This award recognises outstanding care managers who go above and beyond to meet the needs of our customers.

Daren has worked for over 12 years in the health and social care sector. He is passionate about the sector and a keen advocate for promoting continuous improvement of service provision. His career spans from primary delivery, lecturer in HE and FE and more recently in senior management positions in the health and social care sector.
Daren specialises in:
Managing quality care delivery for service users
Turning around organisation performance in line with CQC requirements

Amongst Daren’s key achievements to date include:
Acting as a trusted consultant for a care provider to ensure sustainability
Building and developing high performance teams that exceed service users’ needs

Daren has a MSC in Health and social care and PGCE.

Julia

Care Co-ordinator

Julia combines a much sought after skillset of laser focussed professionalism and determination with a huge kind heart.  She lives and breathes what is best for her customers!

Like most of our staff Julia has been with Caremark for many years.  She was  previously a Field Care Supervisor before moving into her role as  Care Co-ordinator. She has extensive experience in senior supervisory roles and in ensuring compliance with detailed systems.

Julia has a strong personal affinity with our growing customer base and is dedicated to providing the best professional care that we can to each and every customer. She has strong personal links to the geography of Sutton and to the schools and social institutions within the borough.

Emma

Care Co-ordinator

Since joining the team seven years ago Emma has continually demonstrated her unwavering commitment to our customers and to the ethos of the Caremark brand.

Emma brings with her a wealth of care and coordinating experience. Emma has worked in all aspects of the care industry and brings this diverse knowledge to her coordinating and deeply understands the needs of Clients and Carers.

Emma shares the vision and passion of all Caremark Sutton staff and is dedicated to delivering the highest standard of care and support alongside the rest of the Caremark Sutton team. Emma has a bubbly and approachable personality and responds to challenges with calm and professional nature.

Elaine

Field Care Supervisor

Our big hearted Elaine scooped the prestigious “Women Franchise Employee of the Year” in the national Encouraging Women into Franchising Award run by Nat West.

She was recognised for her “authentic and passionate leadership style” and for helping her team deliver excellent care in the community during the pandemic.

Elaine is one the warmest, most compassionate people we’ve ever met. But she has a steely side too – when it comes to her customers she will ensure that every single person is treated like a member of our own family. Elaine brings a wealth of supervisory experience with her and has worked previously as a senior kennel maid at Battersea Dogs Home and in Interior Design. She loves the regular office dogs and puppies that visit. Elaine is a passionate leader and believes in empowering others to be their best possible selves

Debbie

Field Care Supervisor

It is difficult not to smile when Debbie is around!  An absolute care professional Debbie brings a great sense of humour and lots of joy and fun to the team and to all our customers.  She’s great to have around. She started her career in business travel and then moved into catering for Sutton United feeding all of the footballers. But it is in care that she found her real vocation and has worked in the industry for 15 years. She says that there is no feeling better than leaving a customer with a smile on their face knowing that we’ve made a difference to their lives. Debbie is a hugely popular member of the Caremark team.

Rukayat

Senior Care Assistant

In December 2022, our team was fortunate to welcome Rukayat as a Senior Field Support Worker, focusing primarily on our children’s services. She has not only bought a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the role but also an unwavering optimism that has since become a beacon of inspiration for the entire team.

Her calm nature, empathy, and reliability are qualities that are indispensable in care, and particularly in supporting our younger customers which is what you will find Rukayat spending most of her time doing.

Mike

Recruitment Manager

Mike heads up our recruitment, training and retention division. With a background in education, Mike is a huge asset to the Caremark office. He is cool and calm and has great attention to detail. He’s just bought a puppy and the Caremark team love it when she comes to visit.
Financial Accountant

Ron

Financial Accountant

Ron Riosa is our Financial Accountant and is responsible for keeping our finances on track and with ensuring that we are compliant and up-to-date at all times. Ron’s background prior to Caremark (Sutton) was as a Fund Accounting Analyst for JP Morgan Bank and prior to that as an Actuarial Analyst for Prudential plc. Ron Riosa holds a degree in Mathematics.

Hunter

Cuddle Buddy

Hunter is a regular in the Caremark offices and will visit those customers who love the company of the friendliest, most loving dog you could ever imagine.

A wagging tail, a smiling face and always up for a cuddle he is an important member of our team.

We do appreciate that not everybody is a fan of dogs – so Hunter is always kept on his best behaviour.
